K-6 commenced their Peer Support lessons this week. The Primary Campus will participate in Peer Support, each week, for the next 7 weeks. 

Two Year 6 Peer Support Leaders, facilated a small group of students from Kindergarten to Year 5, working together through a number of structured activities. Teachers supervised the groups while they worked on a module called Promoting Harmony which will help define individual and community values, build relationships and improve decision making skills. 

This first session enabled the children to get to know everyone in their group, agreeing on how they will work together and interact cooperatively with others. They will also begin to think about what is a value and something they value in themselves.

Teachers recommend you talk to your children about Peer Support each week, as it will help to reinforce the concepts learned in each session.
