Dear Parents
Today a Parent Engagement Survey was sent out to parents through Schoolzine and also in todays Newsletter with a link attached. If you are willing to complete the short survey, please return it to the school by Monday 24th June. The purpose of the survey is to capture ideas for innovation from the parent cohort.
Currently the teachers are engaged in marking Semester examinations and writing student reports. The K- 6 end of Semester Reports will go home Thursday 27th and 7 - 10 on Friday 28th June. If you are aware of any families, who are interested in McAuley for Year 7 in 2020, their Orientation Day is Friday 21st June. Students should wear the Sports Uniform of their current school and be on the Secondary Campus by 9.00am.
Yesterday I had the pleasure of visiting St Mary’s Batlow and St Joseph’s Adelong to meet their Year 6 students. Two fine groups of students who were very excited about the prospect of attending secondary school. They were eager for answers to many questions about the operations of High School, different subjects, multiple teachers, uniform, buses, student timetables, the Canteen and the list goes on. They were polite and articulate and a credit to their schools, thank you to Mrs Richards and Mrs Beavan for their hospitality.
