Year 11 Biology students did an activity where they had to model a plant or animal cell, including cellular organelles, with plasticine and other materials. Students had to use images and descriptions of subcellular structures to produce a simplified representation of what is found in the two different sorts of cells to make it easier to communicate and educate people on structures that are usually too small to see.
