Year 10 Work Experience is Optional not Compulsory.

Work Experience is a chance to get a feel for day-to-day working life in a particular job. At the end of a placement, students may decide that career is the right one for them, or it could be ruled out, or you could discover an alternative which suits you even more.

The students who are considering work experience have collected the preparation package. If they have not, they need to see Mrs Croft.

Due to so many events on the calendar there is no formal work experience week.

 Students can organise work experience during term 3 and 4. They must take in account major assessments (they may need to speak to the teacher prior) such as exams and compulsory excursions.

Students will have to catch up on work they miss during the work experience and have the paperwork in 3 weeks before the placement.
