McAuley was represented by 44 students at the Western Region Athletics carnival. Our athletes competed against students from the 11 other schools in our region. Overall McAuley finished in third place on the point score, with St Anne’s, Temora taking home the Champion School trophy. 

Chloe Pearce was awarded  the Senior Girl’s Age Champion and Jimmy O’Connell was named Junior Boy Runner’s Up after strong performances throughout the day. 

McAuley had numerous students who placed in the top 3 (see table below) and now have 16 students who have made the Western Region team to compete at the Archdiocesan Athletics Carnival at the AIS in Canberra on the 22nd of August.
