Eight teams represented McAuley at the Canberra Goulburn Secondary Basketball Championships held in Canberra on May 23. 2 x Year 7/8 boys and girls teams, 2 x Year 9/10 boys, open girls and open boys team. All played extremely well and represented the school with great sportsmanship. McAuley came away with Year 7/8 Girls Champions and Year 7/8 Boys Champions.The two teams will now progress to the NSWCCC Championships in October (Sydney). Mr Turnbull, Mrs Schirmer, Miss Moriss and Miss Stubbs supported the teams throughout the day.
