On 21 February 2022 Goodes Coaches received the following in an email from Transport for NSW, regarding face masks remaining mandatory on Public Transport for over 12 years and recommended for under 12 years:
Thank you for your continuing support in responding to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Following the announcement by the Premier on the easing of COVID-19 restrictions, we expect more people to return to public transport in the coming weeks.
Importantly, face masks remain mandatory on public transport and in all public transport waiting areas for customers and staff.
Transport for NSW is currently working through its COVIDSafe measures on public transport going forward and we will update you with what this will mean for you and your services shortly.
For now, please continue to follow your current COVIDSafe measures.
At all times, operators should be guided by their own work health and safety risk assessment and their policies and procedures to ensure that the risk of COVID-19 transmission to staff and customers is minimised.
Thank you for the vital role you are all playing in not only protecting yourself but those around you.
