To begin the school year Fr Namora bless the refurbished classrooms on the secondary campus. He blessed the classrooms and the teachers and students who will work in these rooms. The blessing marked the continuation of a significant journey for McAuley in their mission to have first class learning environments.

"If you are willing to listen you will learn" - Sirach 6:32-37

If you wish, you can be taught; if you apply yourself, you will be shrewd.

If you are willing to listen, you will learn; if you heed, you will be wise.

Frequent the company of the elders; whoever is wise, stay close to him.

Be eager to hear every godly discourse; let no wise saying escape you.

The blessing continued asking for the Holy Spirit to descend upon the students and teachers and be filled with wisdom and blessings.
